Jane's Journey Home for Dogs is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization offering loving care to those that need it most. We partner with local community members to provide a peaceful retirement home for aging dogs and special needs pets near the end of their lives while pursuing pet education and adoption for those that need a second chance. We work to redesign views of animal care while focusing on quality of life and happiness for those most often discarded. We believe companion animals contribute positively to our quality of life and have much to teach us about patience, respect, responsibility, loyalty and unconditional love. We believe every pet deserves to live out their golden years, months, weeks or even days with dignity in a place of love, security and peace. We believe at times it is appropriate to make an end-of-life decision based on a deteriorating quality of life and are here to help animals peacefully and respectfully through that journey. We believe in honest and open conversations, thinking outside the box, and making decisions that are in the best interest of the animal. We believe in providing educational support, advocacy, and alternative solutions for all pets to have an equal opportunity for a happy healthy life, no matter how long that may be.
